I must say that this course was an absolute 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me. The way Ronnie and Alan talk through various situations is both perfect, entertaining and most of all motivating and teaching. I've been playing snooker for around 18-20 years on an amateur level and I've never made more than 15-16 break before, pathetic I know, but after refining my technique with the Rocket Method, I am regularly hitting 30s, sometimes even 40s, which to me feels like a century break. I can't wholeheartedly express the satisfaction to improve your game after being bad at it for so long. This money is well worth it, anyone wondering, just give it a shot! Thanks Ronnie and Alan, this was just perfect!

As someone who has loved snooker for years but always struggled to make serious progress, discovering The Rocket Method was a complete game-changer. I can confidently say this is the most comprehensive, practical, and inspiring training course I’ve ever come across — and I’ve tried plenty over the years, from YouTube tutorials to coaching books and even in-person guidance.

From the very first module, it’s clear that this course is in a league of its own. It doesn’t just teach you how to play snooker — it teaches you how to think, move, and execute like a true professional. Every lesson is broken down with such clarity that even the more advanced concepts feel completely digestible. Whether it’s cue ball control, safety play, break building, or just refining your stance and grip, the course addresses it all with real precision.

What impressed me most is how relatable and accessible the teaching style is. You’re not just watching someone show off their skills; you’re being walked through why things work the way they do, with real emphasis on mechanics, mindset, and consistency. The visual demonstrations, combined with thoughtful commentary, make each point stick. I often found myself replaying sections, not because I didn’t understand — but because I was so eager to absorb every bit of detail.

Within just a few weeks of applying the principles, I noticed a significant improvement in my game. My cue action became smoother, my confidence on long pots improved, and my positional play became far more deliberate. Even my practice routines became more focused — I wasn’t just hitting balls anymore; I was training with intention.

There’s also something incredibly motivating about knowing that this method is inspired by Ronnie O’Sullivan — arguably the greatest player the sport has ever seen. You can feel that influence throughout the course: the emphasis on rhythm, instinct, and precision. It’s not just about technique; it’s about tapping into the mindset of a champion.

And on a personal level, I appreciated how the course makes you fall in love with the game all over again. It reignited that spark for me — that feeling of joy and challenge every time I approach the table. That’s not something you get from every training tool.

If you’re on the fence, let me say this: The Rocket Method is worth every second and every penny. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to refine years of experience, this course will elevate your play and deepen your appreciation for snooker. I genuinely can’t recommend it highly enough.

Hello... My name is Neil S. and I purchased "The Rocket Method" to help me with my snooker.

Firstly,  it was laid out in a fantastic and professional way, it looked amazing. 10 out of 10 it was brilliant.

Secondly, each of the lessons were indepth and full of valuable information wether you were a beginner or a more advanced player. Every area was covered completely. 10 out of 10 there.

I feel, having watched the whole series, my game has improved, I now have a better understanding of the game and all the technical stuff that goes along with it.

Without "The Rocket Method" I feel my game would have plodded along, but now I feel I have the knowledge, technical abilities to play better snooker.

Thanks to Ronnie O'Sullivan & Alan McManus for doing this....

Please feel free to use this endorsement, if you wish.

I would highly recommend this course to any beginner who wishes to improve their game.

Many thank

Hello, here are my suggestions:

  1. It would be even better if there were Chinese voiceovers.
  2. Could you introduce more practice routines used by professional players? Or perhaps have Ronnie share the practice routines he found most effective—from when he first started playing snooker to now—categorized by beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
  3. Currently, I would rate the content on the website 4.9 out of 5.

Hello!

I give you a full 5 out of 5 rating.

It would be even better if the videos had Chinese voiceovers. Also, the release of new videos is a bit too slow — I’ve been waiting for over a year now!

Hi this is my review of the rocket method.

I would give the rocket method 5 stars as it is great for anyone who plays or already plays. The method used is great for me as i have dyslexia so seeing and listening to instructions is perfect. Also listening to ronnie and alan talk and how to play but abit of history and themselves is brilliant.

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone and everyone. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I am happy for you to use my review how way you like

Good: easy to follow and understand.

Bad: not addressing the foundation of player error in greater details with actual player and improve after correction. I suffer a lot for applying unintended side spin and not be able to hit where I wanted, the session address to those already has the right fundamental not to those who wanted to correct their existing errors.

Ronnie’s course is absolutely top-class. You’re not just getting tips, you’re learning how a true master approaches every aspect of the game. His explanations are clear, direct, and full of practical insights that immediately made a difference in how I play. I especially appreciated the focus on cue action, positional play, and break-building, which are all key areas I wanted to improve. What really sets this apart is that it feels personal, like Ronnie is talking directly to you, sharing the kind of knowledge you'd never get just from watching matches. I’ve already started applying his advice in my practice sessions and can see real improvements in my consistency and shot selection. If you love snooker and want to seriously raise your level, this course is a no-brainer. It’s not just lessons, it’s a masterclass from the greatest ever.

I enjoyed watching every episode and I’ve learnt so much more than I already know. Especially cue ball control and escaping snookers. It’s a must watch course to improve your game of snooker like it has with mine. A solid 10/10 for me. Great to learn some new tips from personally my favourite player and the best in the world. Cheers Ronnie

I am a beginner snooker enthusiast from China. I hope to gain a solid foundation in cue sports, snooker knowledge, and practical skills through this course. Of course, there is no doubt that the teaching methods of the course and Ronnie's own understanding and attitude towards snooker are excellent. However, in my personal experience, I still encounter various obstacles in my self-study process. I hope the platform can take into consideration enthusiasts like me and respond by optimizing the course. The specific issues and suggestions are as follows:

  1. The updates are too slow! I recall that the previous email mentioned the course would be launched in October 2023, but the actual course update was delayed by several months, and by the time it was fully completed, it was approximately one year behind schedule. What's worse is that the updates were for the English-language videos, and initially there were no subtitles (English subtitles were added after six months). This is not very user-friendly for students whose native language is not English, as a single lesson might take three to four times longer to complete. Additionally, the Chinese-language subtitle version was always listed as “Coming Soon,” and it wasn't until recently that the Chinese-language subtitle version was updated, but I noticed that only half of the videos have been updated. Given that the content is already finalized, I believe the subtitle project should not require years of work. I hope the platform can update it as soon as possible. If there are concerns about subtitle quality, the platform could first roll out the subtitles to existing registered users, collect feedback, and continuously optimize them before rolling them out to all users. This approach would address the issue of slow updates while also improving course quality.

2. A more detailed description of theoretical knowledge and the phased objectives of sub-training stages. I have completed some of the earlier courses and practical training, but during this process, I encountered some issues that troubled me. I found that these issues stemmed from insufficient clarity in the descriptions of theoretical knowledge and explanations of training methods. For example, in the theoretical knowledge section on “Judging cue ball pace,” there are points about ‘stun’ and “follow-through.” During practical training, I found it unclear where the specific boundaries lie, and I even questioned whether “follow-through” is related to the duration of contact between the cue tip and the cue ball. Additional questions include: How should these two types of shots be defined? Is it about force or the stroke process? How can one efficiently improve? These issues can lead to ongoing confusion among enthusiasts and hinder their progress, severely affecting their mindset. Therefore, the platform could provide more detailed descriptions of these course elements. It is suggested to open public discussion forums for users to exchange ideas, with the platform's official team periodically addressing hot topics with official responses. If such initiatives are constrained by funding, I believe enthusiasts would be willing to pay for them.

3. More interaction. As an enthusiast, I always strive to do the right thing in everything I do, but the process of determining which method is the most appropriate is often the most challenging. Fortunately, I discovered this course in cue sports, and I believe Ronnie also spent decades in his snooker career to identify and refine these theories and methods. This is a valuable asset to humanity, and I cherish it deeply. In my view, the platform is a snooker university. For a university, communication and interaction between students and between teachers and students are essential. I suggest the platform could create some community groups or online discussion forums for students, or provide opportunities for those willing to communicate to join the course design team.

Finally, I hope the platform continues to grow and thrive.

Thanks & Regards,

Pengyan

Hi,

I am more than happy to share my feedback and review. Of course my rating is 5. Here is my review:

I recently completed the Rocket Method training session with Ronnie O’Sullivan, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Ronnie’s approach is not only thorough but also incredibly insightful. His ability to break down complex techniques into understandable steps is truly remarkable. Thanks to Ronnie for dedicating his time and sharing his extensive knowledge with us. He is the Snooker God. If it comes from him, you know it’s the best—this training session was absolutely perfect!

Dear all,

after successfully registering for the Rocket method, it has tremendously improved my game with confidence, e.g. potting, cue action, break building and even snookering. What is outstanding to me is how Ronnie teaches how to plan your shot ahead to make big breaks, e.g. Visualizing the pot. His advice on coaching is well received and his course keep me in align, thereby changing my mind set and making me a better player. I love how the course is layout and structured as outline in the table of contents. There is no doubt why he is indeed the GOAT. This course is ideal for all players at various levels and with consistent practice their game will be fruitful. I love how Ronnie has selected the topics, which is real and practical, and has given credit to even Steve Davis, 6-time Snooker World Champion. I have no regrets of registering for this course and will encourage everyone who is wiling to improve their game. As I conclude, I wish Ronnie all the very best as he strives to have a World record of 8 wins and become the number 1 record holder. May God continue to bless him tremendously with remarkable success.
